Appliance Parts, Help and more

When an appliance part falls apart where do you go? The hardware stores only stock limited items. I searched online and found RepairClinic.com. You need to put in your appliance's model number for them to give you the part you need. I went to the local Sears appliance store and found that they also order most parts online so its cheaper if you do it yourself. Home Depot uses RepairClinic to sell parts from their Homedepot.com website. The site also offers FREE repair advice on your appliance and what parts you may need to fix it. The only thing is once you place an order a pop up will come up saying you can get free shipping next time. DO NOT do this because this is a membership which will charge $10/month on your card. I read the reviews on Repairclinic and I found that most people felt duped with this $10/mo membership which was misleading. I received the parts I ordered so I would recommend them for small repairs that you can do yourself (and as long as you don't sign up for the membership). If it would make you feel better you can just go to Home Depot Appliance Repair link although that is still Repair Clinic.
